Amenities

The cottage operates year round and was the first cottage built on the lake. Over the years, before access roads were built, it served as a trapper’s lodge and a small store to which people came by boat.  It has plenty of charm and character. Kitchen towels, bath towels and bed sheets are provided. Below is a listing of key amenities.

Kitchen

All the basics for preparing, serving and enjoying your meals are provided.  Two fridges offer plenty of storage.  Between the appliances in the kitchen and those on the deck, such as the BBQ and flat top griddle, many options are available for cooking your special meal.

With every cottage stay, we also include a 26 piece box of Ziploc To Go food storage containers.  They are yours to keep.

Living Room

Original log walls and trusses provide a cozy look and feel to this unique part of the cottage.  It dates back to the mid 1930s.

Dining Room

The dining room leads out to the deck and has plenty of windows to enjoy the view. It also doubles as a games room.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a storage cabinet and shelving for your personal hygiene needs.

Deck

The deck overlooks the cottage grounds and has an amazing view of the lake. It receives full sun, but thanks to the apple tree, shade is available for that lazy afternoon snooze.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have new mattresses and mattress covers. Pillows have covers in addition to their cases.

Between every stay, the bedding is professionally laundered. Bedding is provided for each bed, but not for the additional IKEA foam mattresses found in the second bedroom.
